Kalpana's treatments are a little different from your normal beauty therapist; her unique roots & heritage have influenced her practice to combine both modern & ancient techniques, especially her facials, for the ultimate in personal pampering.

Kalpana also teaches adolescence how to care for their young skin, as it is often in puberty that the skin becomes unbalanced. However, anyone who has experienced a treatment with Kalpana needs no more convincing.

About Kalpana

Kalpana grew up amongst the cadence of Mumbai, the glittering epicenter of India's Bolly-wood film industry in a fashionable family of glitz and glamour involved in Asia's most prolific film industry.

1987 Her husband, Suresh, ventured to New Zealand. Two years later she joined him. It was a far cry from any major metropolitan cultural centre, a land of no people but plenty of sheep, with a fashion industry just taking off from flannelette shirts and stubbies, and the current film phase was Smash palace, Vigil and The Navigator with not much of the usual singing and dancing that she was used to.
1995 Kalpana meticulously trained at the international College of Camille, receiving her diploma in beauty therapy. She has had 15 years of experience and has a wholesome approach to skin & body wellness. As a mother of two, she understands as well as any of us that we all need to take time out for ourselves. Beauty is not a question of age. Everyday our experiences enrich us and enhance us. As we age. Life experiences help us to become self-assured and confident. We begin to exude poise, dignity and vivaciousness that many younger women can only admire.
Calming, and always full of positive energy, Kalpana will warmly welcome you into her friendly, professional studio nestled into Auckland's leafy northern shores, in a quiet lane with plenty of parking, away from all the hustle & bustle of the city.
